Saint Lucia
An island country of the West Indies in the Windward Islands south of Martinique. The capital is Castries. The Pitons, form the island's most famous landmark. Saint Lucia is one of the unique islands in the world that exhibit a drive-in volcano. Major towns of Saint Lucia include Gros Islet, Soufrière and Vieux Fort. The local climate is tropical, moderated by northeast trade winds, with a dry season from January to April and a rainy season from May to November.
