| First Class Cricket is the oldest form of cricket and it was in practice even before Test matches were played. First class cricket is usually played by teams within a country and is a domestic cricket competition. The format of first class cricket is similar to that of Test cricket. There are two teams of eleven players each and both teams play two innings respectively. The standards have to be equal to that of test cricket with a proper playing field, and the match has to have a minimum of three days duration (except for the one day games).
