| Kenyan Cricket Team's Recent Performances |
|
The Kenyan Cricket Team's recent performances have not been too bad considering the fact that team did not play any international cricket for almost 18 months following a dispute in the team management.
- In February 2006, Kenya played an ODI series against Zimbabwe and did well to draw the series 2-2.
- In march 2006, Kenya toured Bangladesh but unfortunately lost all the matches there and lost the series 4-0.
- Following the Bangladesh series, they met Holland in their first Intercontinental Cup match. They came back from behind and a brilliant hundred from Steve Tikolo helped save the match.
- In July, Kenya comprehensively beat Canada on the latter's home turf and had a 3-0 win over the hosts. However, the party was spoiled by a 3-0 loss in the hands of Bangladesh at home soon after.
It can be seen that the Kenyan Cricket Team's recent performances have been of mixed fortunes. Kenya now need to play more matches in preparation for the 2007 World Cup.
