Tareq Aziz started his career at the age of 18 and was a hit in his first month for Chittagong Districts. He made his one-day debut two months later, collecting 3 for 19 against Pakistan. He returned as a cannier bowler, and took three wickets - two in the final over - to help Bangladesh beat Zimbabwe in March 2004, their first one-day international win for five years.
