He’s the former Western Australian batsman who won Pura Cup Player of the Year honours in his second season with New South Wales' SpeedBlitz Blues. Amassed 896 runs at an average of 99.55 during the 2003-04 Pura Cup season. Also scored 345 runs at 69.00 in ING Cup. He made his Test debut on the 2001 Travelex Tour of England in place of the injured Stephen Waugh at Headingley. He made 15 (bowled by Darren Gough) and 0*.
